Within the framework of the Plitprom industry conference, which will take place on December 1, 2021 at the Woodex exhibition site in Moscow, Maxim Prachik, General Director of the Development Corporation of Sverdlovsk region, will talk about the potential of board production in the Sverdlovsk Region, modern industrial infrastructure and the region's timber base.

In terms of volume and availability of resources, the Sverdlovsk region is one of the most promising areas for investment in the production of MDF, chipboard and OSB. Annually in the Sverdlovsk region 7.5 million m³ of timber is harvested and processed, and coniferous and soft-leaved species predominate in the forest structure. An extensive network of roads and railways provides profitable logistics for harvesting, processing and transporting wood products, including for export.
