Evgeny Kuyvashev agreed with Wildberries to build a large logistics center and create 5 thousand new jobs

Wildberries, Russia's largest online retailer, will build a large distribution center in the Sverdlovsk region. Its opening will create over 5 thousand new jobs, and entrepreneurs of the region will be able to increase their sales in the e-commerce segment and optimize logistics costs. The agreement on the implementation of the project was signed on August 23 by Evgeny Kuyvashev and the general director of the company Tatyana Bakalchuk.

The new Wildberries distribution center is supposed to be built on the territory of Yekaterinburg. It will sort and store goods, as well as organize delivery and process returns.

The launch of the first stage of the logistics center with an area of ​​100 thousand square meters is expected in the period 2022 - 2023. Wildberries' investments in the construction of a distribution center are estimated at 8 billion rubles.

The Development Corporation of the Sverdlovsk region will accompany the project and contribute to the implementation of the signed agreement.
